Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Indian and Sri Lankan actress and model born in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka. She is former Miss Sri Lanka Universe. 

Jacqueline Fernandez was born to a Sinhalese family in Sri Lanka. She studied in Bahrain in Holy Crest Girls School, Manama. She then did her graduation from Murrey University in Melbourne, Australia. Then she turned to modeling.

Career

In year 2006, Jacqueline was crowned as Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006. After that she used to be an anchor on Lanka Business Report and wrote a weekly column for The Daily Mirror while modeling in India. She also has a non-profit organization in Sri Lanka focusing on empowering the underprivileged.

Jacqueline made her acting debut in film Aladin in year 2009. Then in year 2010 she again starred in film Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. She also made a cameo appearance in film Housefull.

1) Almost everyone thinks that Jacqueline is a Sri Lankan. However, Jacqueline comes from a mixed ethnicity. her father is Sri Lankan while her mother is of Malaysian and Canadian ancestry.

2) Before making it to Bollywood, Jacqueline did her Mass Communication course from Australia and came back to Sri Lanka.

3) Jacqueline made her Bollywood debut with the flop film, Aladin opposite Ritesh Deshmukh.

4) Jacqueline was ranked 3rd in Time magazines Most Desirable Women of 2013 list.

5) Jacqueline is trained in jazz ballet. She considers it as her basic workout.

6) Jacqueline wishes to become a food documentary maker.
